Piyush Transport Service operates out of Kalamboli, specifically at C/3074 Bima. If you've been to Kalamboli, you know it is mostly about trucks and heavy goods. There is a lot of dust and noise from all the vehicles moving in and out. Our office is a simple place where we manage the schedules for the transport we handle. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers on the phone and checking where the loads are. It’s a tough business and the hours can be very long. Sometimes things get delayed because of traffic or a breakdown, and we have to figure it out on the fly. We have a small table, a few chairs, and a lot of logbooks. We don't use any fancy software; we just write things down so we don't forget. The office is right in the middle of all the action, so it is easy for drivers to find us. We have been doing this for a long time and we know the routes pretty well. It’s not a fancy job and the office isn't decorated, but it serves its purpose. We drink a lot of tea and wait for the trucks to come in. Most of the people we work with are regular clients who have been using us for years. It’s just how we earn our living here in the transport hub.
