I 2 Travels

Our place is at 83 Panvel on the Pune-Satara Road. The building is called Sushila Nivas and it is a pretty standard looking place. Being on the main road means we see a lot of people heading out of town or coming back from long trips. I 2 Travels is just a small operation run out of a room here. We have a few maps on the wall and a telephone that rings more often than not. It is not the kind of place where you will find marble floors or air conditioning that works perfectly all the time. We just have what we need to help people get where they are going. The road outside is almost always loud with buses and cars zooming past toward Satara or Pune. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the desks. It is a very straightforward setup. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. People just know where we are and they stop in when they are planning a trip. Sushila Nivas has been here for years and most of the locals know the name. We like being in Panvel because it feels like a gateway to the rest of the state. It is a busy, unpolished spot but it serves its purpose for us and the travelers who find their way to our door.
