Terna Hospital & Reserch Center

You’ll find Terna Hospital & Reserch Center over at Plot No. 12 in Sector No. 22. It’s a big building, and we have a lot of different departments going on at once. The research side means there are always people in white coats walking around with clipboards and looking at data. On the hospital side, it’s the usual mix of patients and their families. Sector 22 is a busy place, and we are right in the middle of it. The parking lot is almost always full, and we are constantly trying to find more space for everyone. Inside, the hallways are wide, but they get crowded during visiting hours. We have a canteen that serves decent enough food, and that’s where most of the staff hangs out during breaks to talk about their day. It’s a lot of responsibility running a place like this. We have to keep track of a million things at once. The equipment is updated when we can afford it, and we spend a lot of time on maintenance. It’s not a perfect place—the elevators can be slow and sometimes the air conditioning struggles in the summer heat. But we are here every day, making sure things run as smoothly as possible. We’ve got a mix of young interns and older doctors who have seen it all. It’s a community of its own within the sector. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
