Shushrusha Heart Care Centre &Amp; Speciality Hospital Mumbai

Down here in Nerul, near Palm Beach Road, things feel a bit more open compared to the middle of Mumbai. We are located at Plot No. 22/A in Sector 6, Phase 3rd. It’s a large building, and you can’t really miss it if you’re driving along the coast road. The hospital is quite focused on heart care, so there is a lot of specialized equipment around. It can look a bit intimidating with all the screens and wires, but it’s just how we work. The wind off the water sometimes brings a bit of salt in the air, which is nice when you step outside for a break. Inside, the corridors are long and usually pretty quiet, except for the occasional announcement or the sound of the cleaning staff. We spend a lot of time looking at heart monitors and talking to families in the waiting rooms. It’s a serious place, as you can imagine with heart stuff, but the nurses try to keep things calm. There isn't any fancy art on the walls or anything like that. We focus on keeping the machines running and the patients stable. The parking lot fills up early with doctors' cars and ambulances. It’s a big operation, but we try to keep it feeling grounded. It’s just a hospital in Navi Mumbai doing its part for the local community and the people who live in the Sector 6 area. We stay here 24 hours a day.
