Khopoli is where we set up Osero Pharmaceuticals. It’s a place that feels a bit more industrial but still has its quiet corners. We operate out of a modest facility here. Most of the time, the work involves checking batches and making sure the storage temperatures are staying where they should be. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s what we do. The team is small, just a few people who live nearby and have been with us since we started. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we sort through the latest shipments. The weather in Khopoli can get pretty humid, especially during the monsoon, so we have to be careful about keeping the stock dry and safe. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just handle the pharmaceutical distributions as they come in. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, and other times we close up early if the work is done. There’s a small tea shop down the road where we usually go when we need a break from the warehouse. It’s a basic setup with concrete floors and metal shelving. We know where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. We just focus on getting the medicine where it needs to go without making a big fuss about it.
