Oberoi Trading & Investment Co.

Our office is up in Mahavir Jyoti, over in Sector-10 of Khargar. We’re in unit A-10004. It’s one of those buildings where you’re always waiting a bit too long for the elevator. We do trading and investment stuff. It sounds complicated, but mostly it’s just us looking at numbers on screens and talking on the phone a lot. It’s a small team here. We’ve got desks pushed together and a lot of filing cabinets that are probably fuller than they should be. The view out the window is mostly other buildings and the street below. We get a lot of sun in the afternoons, which makes the office pretty warm. We try to keep things quiet so people can concentrate, but there’s always someone tapping a pen or a phone ringing. We’ve been in Khargar for a few years now. It’s a good spot, though the traffic can be a mess in the mornings. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, if the door buzzes, one of us just gets up to see who it is. We deal with all sorts of paperwork every day. It’s just steady work. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm out there. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to get the numbers right before the end of the day. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy enough. We don't mind the routine of it all.
