We've been here at Saidham in the Hetkarali area for a good while now. It’s right on Matheran Road in Neral East, so most people know where to find us. Tax work isn't exactly the most exciting thing in the world, but it’s what we do every day at Macotax Consultants. We spend a lot of time looking at papers and sitting behind desks while the world goes by outside. Neral can get quite busy, especially with people heading up to the hill station, but we stay tucked away in our office getting through the files. Sometimes the rain gets really heavy here and we just watch it from the window while drinking tea. It’s a small team, mostly just us trying to keep everything organized for the people who come in. We don't have fancy lobbies or anything like that. Just a couple of rooms with chairs and computers. People from around here stop by when they have a problem with their paperwork or need some advice on how to handle their filings. It’s honest work and we try to get it done without making a big fuss about it. The office stays pretty quiet most mornings until the afternoon rush starts. It feels like home after all these years. We know the neighbors and the local shops nearby. If you’re walking down Matheran Road, you’ll see our sign eventually. It’s nothing special, just a place where work gets done.
