Master Computer

We have been running Master Computer out of our space in Indra Govardhan Society for quite some time now. It is located at Post Nagothane in the Roha taluka. It’s a pretty simple setup we have here. If you walk into the society, you can usually find us without much trouble. We mainly spend our days looking at motherboard circuits and trying to figure out why some old laptop won't turn on anymore. It's not a shiny, high-tech lab or anything like that. We have a couple of wooden tables, some soldering irons, and a lot of spare parts scattered around in plastic bins. Nagothane is a small enough place that news travels fast, so we don't really do any advertising. People just know us as the guys who fix the computers. Sometimes we get a bit of a backlog and there are towers piled up in the corner, but we get through them eventually. My cousin helps me out when things get busy. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It keeps the mood light even when a repair is getting frustrating. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to stay open and keep the local machines running. It’s a quiet life here in Roha and we like the pace of it. Most days we close up early if the work is done and go grab some tea nearby.
