We have got our office in Flat 601, B Wing of the Pamruchi building, located at Plot 429 in the Takka area of Panvel. It is a residential-style setup, which works well for us because we are a small producer company. Kokan Green Agro Producer Companylimited is the name we chose because we are all about the produce that comes from this specific region. Panvel is a good spot for us since it is a gateway to the coast and the bigger markets. We aren’t a big corporation with hundreds of employees or anything like that. It is just a few of us coordinating with the farmers in the surrounding areas every day. We spend a lot of our time on the phone, organizing where the fruits and vegetables go after they are harvested from the fields. It gets very busy during the peak season, and the office can get a bit cluttered with paperwork and different samples. We focus on getting the local agro products to the people who want them. There is no fancy mission statement here, just the daily grind of making sure the farmers get paid and the buyers get their goods on time. It is a lot of logistics and talking to different people. Sometimes the elevators in the building are a bit slow, but we manage just fine. If you are in the Takka neighborhood, that is where you will find us working. We keep things straightforward and avoid complications.
