Out here at Plot No. B-29/2 in MIDC Taloja, things stay pretty busy for us at Drupe Engineering Pvt. Ltd. Being in the Raigad district means we’re surrounded by a lot of other factories and industrial units. The air always has that smell of machinery and earth. We’ve got our workshop set up to handle various engineering tasks that come our way. It’s a big space but it fills up fast with materials and half-finished projects. Most days involve a lot of clanking metal and the sound of drills. We don't have any fancy carpets or air-conditioned lobbies. It’s just a concrete floor and a lot of hard work. Our crew is local, and we all know how the heat in Taloja can get during the summer months. We drink a lot of water and just keep the machines running. We aren't interested in being the biggest engineering firm around. We just want to make sure the parts we produce are solid and do what they are supposed to do. Sometimes shipments arrive late because of the roads, and we have to adjust our schedule. That’s just part of life in an industrial zone. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve seen the area grow, but our work remains pretty much the same day in and day out.
