Mahadev Marbles

You can find us on Station Road, right in the Azad Nagar area. Being near the station means there’s always some kind of noise or movement going on around Mahadev Marbles. It’s a lively spot to have a business, that’s for sure. We’ve got our marble slabs set up so people walking by can see them, though the dust from the road means we’re constantly hosing things down to show the true color of the stone. Our shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a typical stone yard with a small room for paperwork. We’ve been here at 12/188 for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We mostly help local families who are doing up their floors. They come in with their measurements on a scrap of paper, and we try to find something that fits their budget. It’s not a high-pressure environment here. We let people take their time looking around. Sometimes they bring their kids, and we have to tell them not to run near the heavy slabs. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even if we aren't all related. We just want to get through the day, sell some good stone, and go home to our own families. It’s simple, honest work, and that’s the way we like to keep it at our Station Road location.
