Even though our name says Eastern Metec Pvt Ltd. Kolkatta, we are actually operating out of Raichur in Karnataka. Our address is 12-1-65/4, right behind the G.M.A Kalyanmantap in the Gunj Area. It’s a busy trading hub here. Being near the Gunj means there is always something happening with trucks and goods moving around. We are quite far from Kolkata, but we carry the same name. The climate here in Raichur is much drier than what people might expect. We have a small crew here. We mostly look after the local needs in this part of the state. The Kalyanmantap nearby is a good landmark because everyone knows it. We don't have a big sign or anything. Most of our work is done through local contacts and people who have known us for years. It’s a simple operation. We have a couple of rooms where we keep the supplies and do the desk work. The rest of the space is for the materials. We try to stay organized, but it’s hard when you have a lot of stuff coming in at once. We don't bother with fancy business talk. We just tell people what we have and what it costs. It’s an honest way to run a place. We just keep things moving every day and hope the truck drivers arrive on time. It’s just us, doing our daily bit behind the wedding hall for the locals here.
