As A Site Engineer

I spend most of my time out in the sun as a site engineer. My base is in Budadinni, which is near Gandhal in the Raichur district. It's a rural area, so the work is a bit different than what you see in the big cities. I handle things for Nagana Gouda. Most days start very early before the heat gets too bad. We are working on various structures and making sure the ground is level and the materials are right. Raichur can be a tough place to work because of the weather. I have to travel between different spots quite a bit. My office is basically my bag and a small desk in a shed. We don't have fancy software or big teams of people. It’s just me and a few workers getting the job done. I check the measurements and talk to the guys about what needs to happen next. It’s a lot of walking and standing around. Sometimes the supplies don't show up on time because of the roads, so we have to adjust. I grew up around here, so I know the people and how things work in the village areas. It’s honest labor. I like being outside more than sitting in a cubicle anyway. At the end of the day, I’m usually covered in dust and tired, but it’s good to see something being built from the ground up.
