Navkar Polymers is located way out at Plot No 498, Sy No 292 293, in Ramreddy Nagar, which is part of Jeedimetla Village in the Qutubullapur Mandal. It’s a long address and can be a bit tricky for delivery drivers to find the first time they come here. The area is quite industrial and the roads aren't always in the best shape, especially after a heavy monsoon. We deal with polymers all day, so the air has that specific plastic scent that you just get used to after a week. Our facility is mostly open space where the raw materials are kept and the machines do their thing. We don't have a polished showroom or a fancy lobby. If you want to talk to us, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor with the rest of the crew. We have a small corner for lunch where we talk about cricket or the news. It’s a local operation and we don’t have layers of management. If there’s a problem, we just stand around the machine and talk until it’s sorted out. Some of the windows are a bit cracked and the paint is peeling in places, but it doesn't stop us from getting the work out on time. We’ve been in this spot for several years and have grown to like the community in Ramreddy Nagar. It’s a busy, noisy, and honest way to make a living.
