Rotary English Medium School

Our school is situated in Jyothi Nagar, over in Moodibidri. It's a quiet neighborhood which is nice for the students. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. The building is a decent size and we have classrooms for all the different grades. Most of the teachers are locals who have been with us for a long time. We teach everything in English, which is what the parents here usually want. It's a lot of repetition and practice for the kids. The playground isn't massive, but the students don't seem to mind much during their lunch break. They run around and make plenty of noise before the bell rings. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed but still focused on the books. Every morning starts with an assembly in the courtyard. It can get a bit dusty when it hasn't rained in a while. We have a small library and some basic science equipment for the older students. It’s not a high-tech place, just a regular school where we try to teach the basics well. People in Moodibidri know where we are. We see the same faces every day, from the shopkeepers nearby to the parents dropping off their kids on scooters. It’s a steady routine that doesn't change much from year to year. We just keep doing our thing and helping the kids get through their grades so they can move on to high school later.
