Krishna Traders

Krishna Traders is located at 20-98 on the Puttur Road in Chittoor. We’re right there on the main stretch, so there’s always a lot of traffic passing by. The sound of horns and trucks is something we’ve just grown used to over the years. We deal with a lot of different goods, mostly whatever’s in demand around this part of town. The building is a simple one, with a big door that we roll up every morning. Inside, it’s usually a bit of a mess because we’re always moving crates and boxes around. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a practical space where we get the job done. My cousins and I run the place, and we have our hands full most of the time. We don’t use any big computer systems; we mostly just use notebooks to keep track of things. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so we’re always sweeping the floor. It’s a hot area, so we keep the water pot filled for whoever stops by. We’ve been here a long time and have seen the road change quite a bit. It’s just a regular life of buying and selling. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We just open up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s enough for us to keep going and provide for our families.
