You can find us at Shrikarsh Computer Academy, which is located at Rambabu Kumar’s place on Kesariya Road in Chakia. It is a pretty straightforward setup we have here. We have a room filled with computers where local people can come and learn the basics of how to use them. Chakia is a small town, so word usually travels by mouth rather than through big advertisements. The building is right on the main road, so it can get a bit loud when the buses go past or when there is a local festival happening. We don't have any high-tech climate control, just some ceiling fans that hum all day long to keep the air moving. Rambabu is usually around to help out if someone has a problem with their machine. Most of the students are young people from the nearby villages who want to pick up some new skills. We keep things very practical. There are no long boring lectures, just time spent in front of the screen learning how to type or use the internet. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we all just sit on the porch and talk until the lights come back on. It is a very relaxed environment. We aren't running a big university, just a local academy trying to help folks get comfortable with technology. It is honest work and we enjoy seeing people learn something new every day.
