Subroto Dey

Subroto Dey is a small operation located on Bhatgoli Road in Raghunathpur, which is in the Purulia district. This part of West Bengal is quite different from the big cities. Things move a bit slower here, and we like it that way. Our office is a simple setup on the road towards Bhatgoli. Most of the people who come to see us are from the nearby villages or the local town area. We spend our days talking to customers and checking on our supplies. It is a lot of manual record-keeping and phone calls to find out where the next shipment is. Since it is Purulia, the summers get really hot, so we usually have the fans going full blast all day. We do not have a fancy website or a bunch of people in suits. It is just Subroto Dey and a couple of helpers making sure the business stays running. We have been at this location for a good while and everyone around Raghunathpur knows the name. We deal with whatever comes our way, whether it is a small order or something a bit bigger for a local building. There is a lot of dust from the road outside, and the noise of the passing cycles and rickshaws is always there in the background. It is just a basic, honest place where we work hard and try to help the locals with what they need for their own work.
