Dinesh Engineering & Co.

My name is Dinesh and we have been running this engineering shop in Purulia for a good while now. It is located right here in West Bengal, pin code 723102. Most days are pretty much the same, filled with the sound of machines and the smell of grease. We take on all sorts of mechanical repairs and small fabrication jobs that people bring in. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out and get back to work when it comes back. It isn't a fancy place with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have our tools and a couple of guys who know how to use them. People in the neighborhood know where to find us if they need something fixed or welded. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork, honestly. Most of the day is spent on the floor, getting our hands dirty and making sure the parts fit right. It gets hot in the summer, especially with the metal everywhere, but that is just part of the life here. We keep a ledger for the accounts and try to keep things organized, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around, just trying to do honest work for the local folks. If you walk down the road in Purulia, you can probably hear us working before you even see the sign on the door.
