Decent Arwa Rice And Boil Rice Mill

We are located in Ward No. 12 at Labha Chowk. It’s a small corner of Katihar district in the Pranpur area. At Decent Arwa Rice And Boil Rice Mill, we handle both types of rice processing. The boiling tanks are in the back and they put off a lot of steam in the mornings. It makes the air thick. We’ve been operating out of this spot near the Mahadevpur post office for some time now. The building is made of brick and tin, and it gets pretty loud when everything is running at once. We hire people from the village to help with the bagging and the loading. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. I usually spend my time checking the moisture in the grains. If it’s not right, the whole batch is ruined. We have a small room where we keep the finished bags stacked high. You have to be careful walking through there because the stacks are tall. Sometimes the electricity from the grid is weak, so we have to use the generator which is even louder. We don't have a website or anything. People just come by the chowk and talk to us directly. It’s better that way. We know our neighbors and they know we are here doing our work every day except for Sundays. The rain can be a problem for the drying floors, so we watch the clouds a lot.
