The Andhra Starch Mfg. Co. is located at Goudakera, with the post office being in Bhubanpur. It is a bit out of the way compared to the big city offices, but that suits us just fine. The surroundings are mostly rural, so we have a lot of space around the building. We manufacture starch here, and it is a process that takes up most of our time and energy. The building itself is an older structure that has been patched up here and there over the years. Inside, you will see a lot of pipes and vats and the white dust from the starch that seems to settle on everything no matter how much we clean. It is a hardworking environment where people are usually busy moving sacks or checking the equipment. We don't have a corporate headquarters with carpets and soft lighting. Our floors are concrete and our lights are simple tubes. Working in Goudakera means we are close to the sources we need for our manufacturing. We have a small office space for the accounts and the phone, but most of the action happens in the production area. It is a simple life at The Andhra Starch Mfg. Co. We don't put on any acts or use big words to describe what we do. We just make the starch, load it onto the trucks, and handle the paperwork as it comes.
