Bs Marine (P) Ltd. is tucked away in Dolamandap Sahi, right on Temple Road. It’s a unique place to have an office because you can always hear the bells and the general bustle from the temple nearby. It gives the whole day a certain kind of rhythm. We’ve been operating out of this spot for years, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some sturdy wooden desks and a couple of computers that are a bit old but still do the job. Since we are in the marine business, a lot of our work involves coordinating with people near the coast, even though we are situated here in the middle of things. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Sometimes the street gets so crowded with people that it’s hard to get a vehicle right up to the door, but we make it work. Our team is small, mostly just local folks who know the area well. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone telling us how to look professional. We just wear what’s comfortable and focus on the tasks at hand. There’s usually a bit of dust on the shelves and the windows need a cleaning, but that’s because we’re busy working. It’s an honest way to spend the day, and we like being part of the community here. The local atmosphere really makes the office feel like a part of the town.
