Maa Bhavani Tiles & Marble

If you are in District Sundargarh and you head towards the Government College, you will find us right nearby. We have been in this spot for a good while, and most of the locals know our shop because of the large slabs of marble we lean against the outer walls. It is a busy area with students walking back and forth to their classes, so there is always a bit of life around the place. Inside the shop, we have stacks of tiles and different kinds of marble that we have brought in from various places. It is not a very big space, so we have to be careful about how we stack things to make sure nothing breaks and people can still walk around. We spend a lot of our time showing people the different patterns and explaining how one tile is different from another. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a few families come in at once, but we manage. My hands are usually a bit rough from handling the stone all day, and the floor always has a thin layer of white dust on it no matter how much we sweep. We don't do much advertising; most people just see us when they are passing the college or hear about us from a neighbor who bought tiles here before. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay until the sun goes down, helping whoever stops by with what they need for their home.
