East River Farm Projects And Agrovet Welfare Services Foundation

Our foundation is based over at Tanti, care of Parsuram Pradhan. It’s a family-connected thing, as he’s the son of Biswanath Pradhan. We focus on farm projects and also some agrovet stuff, which means looking after the health of the animals and the quality of the crops. We aren't a big operation with a lobby or anything. It’s more of a community-based effort to help the local farming setups. We spend time visiting different farms to see what’s needed, whether it’s better feed for the cows or some help with irrigation. The work is mostly outdoors and can be quite tiring. Being in the 752001 area, we know the local landscape pretty well. We try to provide services that actually matter to the people living here. It's not about making a huge profit; it's more about keeping the local agriculture going. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much for us, but we get through it. We aren't polished or corporate. We are just people who grew up around farms and want to see things improve. Life in Tanti is quiet, and we like it that way. If someone has a problem with their livestock, they know where to find Parsuram. We just take it one day at a time. The neighbors often stop by to ask for a bit of help with their gardens too. We don't mind it at all. That is what being in a village is about.
