A K LALLY Buildcon is based out of D-228 on the third floor in Gali No. 9 of Jagat Puri. It’s a bit of a hike up to the top floor, but it’s quiet enough to get some work done away from the street noise. Jagat Puri is a busy area, and being in one of the lanes means we’re right in the thick of it. The office is small and practical, mostly just desks covered in folders and a few calculators. We don't do anything flashy. Our day-to-day usually involves checking on site progress and making sure the supplies like cement and bricks are arriving at the right spots. We talk to clients in a straightforward way, usually over a cup of tea, explaining how the work is progressing. Construction is a tough business with a lot of moving parts, and we’re just here to manage that. We don't have a big corporate structure; it's a small group of us making sure the foundations are solid. We deal with the same problems every other builder has, like labor not showing up or the weather turning bad. We just take it as it comes and try to keep our word. It’s about being there at the site and making sure things are being built the way they should be. It’s a local operation and we prefer it that way. We just keep our heads down and focus on the bricks and mortar every day.
