Ab Engg Enterprise

This is our engineering setup out in Basudevpure village. We are located at Dilip Kumar Das’s place, which is under the Khanchak post office in the Haldia region. Being in Midnapur East, we are a bit away from the main city rush. The workshop is a functional space where we handle a lot of metalwork and small engineering tasks. It is usually hot and smells like oil and welding smoke, but that is just part of the job. We have our machines lined up, and there is always a project sitting half-finished on the floor. It is not a place for people wearing fancy clothes because you will probably get some grease on you. We handle whatever jobs come in from the local area, whether it is repairing a part for a tractor or fabricating something for a nearby factory. The road to get here can be a bit muddy when it rains, but we manage. We have been working out of this spot for years now. There is no front office or receptionist here; you just walk in and find whoever is working. We keep our tools in order, even if the rest of the place looks a bit cluttered. It is honest, hard work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We do not make a big fuss about things; we just get the engineering work done as it comes.
