Vijaya Steel Enterprise

Started out here on Capur Bagan Barakar Road quite a few years ago. It’s mostly just us handling steel stuff all day. The yard gets pretty loud when the trucks come in to drop off the big rods and sheets. We spend a lot of time just moving things around so people can get what they need for their house projects. It’s not a fancy place, mostly just piles of metal and a small office where we sit and write out bills. Sometimes the rain makes the ground a bit muddy, but we keep going because the builders in this part of town usually need their supplies early. You’ll see us out there in the mornings, usually checking the stock or talking to drivers. Barakar Road is always busy, so there’s a lot of dust and noise from the traffic passing by. We don’t really do much besides focus on the steel. It’s heavy work, and our hands are usually dirty by noon. My cousin helps out with the counting, and we have a couple of guys who do the heavy lifting. We know most of the people who come by here since they live just down the road or in the next village. It’s just a regular business doing what we can with the space we have. Nothing too complicated about it. We just open up, move the steel, and go home when the sun goes down. We usually grab some tea from the stall across the road when we get a break.
