You can find Trench & Trenchless Private Limited over in the Simlon area of Kalna. We operate out of a space near Simlon High School, specifically at Dag No. 2321. It is a bit different from being in a big city because things move a little slower here in Bardhaman. The office is actually care of Susanta Das, and we’ve been part of this village community for a while. Being right by the school means we hear the kids playing during recess, which is a nice break from the silence of our work. Our work involves a lot of technical stuff related to trenches, which sounds pretty straightforward but usually has its own set of headaches and complications. We don't have a big fancy glass office. It’s a practical place where we keep our gear and handle the paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up because that's just how it is in this part of West Bengal. We usually start the day early before it gets too hot to think. Most of us live nearby, so we don't have to deal with the crazy traffic you see in Kolkata. We just focus on the jobs we have in front of us. It is honest work and we try to do it right. There isn't much more to it than that. We are just local people running a business in Simlon, trying to keep things moving along steadily every day.
