The highway is always buzzing with traffic, and the sound of horns is just part of the background noise for us now. We spend our days processing the paddy that comes in from the surrounding villages. It is a lot of heavy lifting and the air is usually thick with the smell of parboiled rice. We have some old machines that have been with us since the start, and they have their own little quirks that only we understand.
