Ritam Spice Products Llp is based out of Nabapally, right near the New Bus Stand in Memari. Being so close to the bus stand means there’s always something going on around here. There’s a lot of dust and noise, but it’s a good spot for getting things moved quickly. We work with spices, so the air in our building usually has a bit of a kick to it. It makes you sneeze if you aren't used to it. We don't have a polished office with glass walls. It’s more of a warehouse feel where we sort and pack the spices. Most of the people working here live just a short walk away in Memari. We aren't trying to be a global brand. We just want to provide good spices to the local markets and wholesalers. Sometimes the machinery breaks down, and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it ourselves. It’s messy work, and your hands end up smelling like turmeric or chili for days afterward. We don't have a big marketing budget. We just talk to the people who buy from us and try to keep them happy. The weather gets really hot in the summer, and we often have to start extra early to beat the heat. It’s a simple business. We don't use any fancy language to describe it. It’s just us, the spices, and the daily grind by the bus stand.
