North Bardhaman Rice Mill

North Bardhaman Rice Mill is located in Malkita, over in the Mirjapur area. It’s a straightforward rice mill, nothing too flashy about it. We have the big machinery and the storage areas for the grain. Most of our days are spent checking the moisture in the rice or making sure the bags are stacked right in Malkita. It’s a lot of physical work, and we aren't the type to sit in an office all day. The Mirjapur area is well-known for its agriculture, so we fit right in here. Sometimes the rain makes the roads around the mill a bit muddy, but we manage to get the trucks in and out. The team at North Bardhaman Rice Mill is small, just a few local people who know how to handle the equipment. We don't have a website or a marketing department. If you need us, you just come down to Malkita. The mill has been part of the landscape here for years. It’s a bit noisy when everything is running at once, but that’s the sound of work being done. We keep the paperwork in a small room that usually smells like diesel and grain. It’s a practical setup for what we do. We aren't looking to change much about how we operate, just keeping the rice moving through Mirjapur. It’s a long day most times, but the grain needs to be processed and we are the ones to do it in this corner of the world.
