Over in Kantapukur West, in Ward Number 1 of Burdwan, you’ll find Mcnally Bharat Engineering Limited. It’s a part of the district that’s seen a lot of activity over the years. Our office is right there, handling the engineering requirements for various projects. It’s a straightforward setup, with desks and files everywhere you look. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. The focus is on the engineering tasks that come through our door. The area around Kantapukur can be busy, with a lot of people moving around for work. We’ve got a decent team here, mostly folks who’ve been in the engineering field for a long time. We don't use big words or make grand promises. We just look at the plans, do the math, and make sure everything is built right. The building is sturdy and does the job for us. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the sounds from the ward, but that’s just life in Burdwan. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the work or what’s happening in the neighborhood. It’s a very grounded way of working. There’s no corporate polish here, just a group of people putting in their hours and making sure the engineering work gets done. We’ve been here for a while and plan to stay, just doing what we know how to do best in this corner of West Bengal. It works for us.
