Maa Merakani Rice Industries

Maa Merakani Rice Industries is based at Jhunjhunwala House in the Nandapara area. We are located right near Station Road, which is a busy spot. It’s not a fancy setup here. Most of our days are spent dealing with different types of rice and making sure the machinery is running like it should. We’ve been in this part of town for quite some time now, and the name H.V. Jhunjhunwala is on the house. The station is so close that you can hear the trains all day, but we don't mind the noise much anymore. It’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We have a small crew of people who help with the heavy lifting and the bagging. It gets a bit dusty when we are moving the grain around, especially in the dry season. We don't spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly find us because they know the building or they see the trucks coming in. It’s a simple operation where we focus on getting the work done. The yard is usually full of sacks waiting to go out. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the orders. If you walk down the road from the station, you will see our place. It’s a practical business, and we just do what we know how to do without making a big fuss about it.
