Over here in Durgapur, West Bengal, we operate the Larsen & Toubro Ltd., Hc&P - V office. We are currently sharing space with Promad Rajak. It’s a pretty straightforward setup. We drink a lot of tea while going through the schedules. The humidity in West Bengal can be a bit much during the middle of the year, but we have some fans running to keep things tolerable. There isn’t any corporate jargon here; we just look at what needs to be done for the day and we do it. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that’s just how it goes sometimes in this part of town. We’ve got a lot of files piled up and a couple of desks that have seen better days. It feels like a real workplace where people actually put in the hours. We don’t spend time on fancy decorations or anything like that because the work is what matters most to the guys here. It is just a basic, hardworking office.
