Jindal Steel & Power Ltd.

Down here at 21/7 Bharati Road in the B Zone of Durgapur, things stay pretty consistent. We go by Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. Durgapur is a real industrial town, so we fit right in with the landscape. You’ll find us easily enough on Bharati Road. It’s a practical setup we have here. We spend our time managing the steel and power side of things for the local area. It’s dusty work sometimes, but that’s just how it goes in this line of business. The guys here have been around for a long time, so we know the routine like the back of our hand. We don't put on any airs or try to act like we’re something we aren't. We just show up, do the work, and head home. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing, and other times it's quiet enough to actually hear the birds outside. We deal with all sorts of people, from big contractors to locals just asking questions. We don’t have a big fancy reception area, just some chairs and a desk where we get things done. It feels like home to most of us by now. Being in West Bengal, the weather can be a bit much in the summer, but we keep the fans going. That’s about all there is to say about us really. We are just a part of the local community.
