Our operation is based in Mangalpur, Bhaktarnagar, which is a key spot for Jai Balaji Industries Ltd. It is an industrial setting through and through. When you arrive, the first thing you notice is the scale of the place and the constant movement. We have a lot of ground to cover here, and the staff is always on the move between the different sections. The office is situated right where we can see the main activity. It is a functional space, nothing more. We don't have any expensive furniture or art on the walls, just the stuff we need to work. The air is often heavy with the smell of the industry, and there is a layer of grit on most surfaces by the end of the shift. We are a hardworking bunch, mostly locals from around the Bhaktarnagar area who have grown up seeing these plants. There is a sense of routine that keeps us going, from the morning shift change to the final checks in the evening. We deal with a lot of heavy equipment and logistics every single day. It isn't always easy, and sometimes things break down or the weather makes the work twice as hard, but we just deal with it as it comes.
