Ganesh Rice Mill

Our place, Ganesh Rice Mill, is situated in Radha Bagan. We are right near the H.P. Pump on the By Pass Road, so there is always a lot of traffic going past our gate. The sound of trucks shifting gears is basically the soundtrack to our day. Being on the By Pass Road makes it very easy for deliveries to reach us, which is a big help. The mill itself has been around for a bit, and you can tell by looking at the walls. We don't mind though, as long as the machines are running well. We spend most of our time out on the floor, checking the grain and making sure everything is moving through the system like it should. It is a noisy, dusty environment, but it is where we feel most comfortable. We have a small crew, and we mostly just stick to ourselves and get the work finished. Sometimes people stop in because they saw our sign while filling up at the H.P. Pump, and we are always happy to have a quick chat. We don't have a mission statement or any corporate slogans. We just try to do a decent job every day and keep the mill in good shape. Life in Radha Bagan is busy, and we are just one part of the local industry that keeps things moving. It is a lot of sweat and hard work, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
