Dal Mill

Our place is called Dal Mill, and we are situated in Ward No. 12 of Village Goyara Mugali. It is a quiet spot most of the time, right near the Khairar Junction Railway Station. You can hear the trains passing by quite clearly from where we sit. Most of the people around here are farming or doing something related to the land. We spend our days working with different kinds of pulses. It is a local operation through and through. The village life is slow but steady, and we like it that way. Being near the station is actually quite handy for getting things moved around. Sometimes the dust from the grains gets everywhere, but that is part of the job. We have been in this village for quite some time now. Everyone knows everyone here. If you ask for the Dal Mill in Ward 12, someone will surely point you in our direction. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. It is just a workspace where we get things done. People from the surrounding areas come by often. We talk about the crops and how the weather is treating the harvest. It is not just about the work; it is about being part of the community here. The railway tracks are like a landmark for us. We just keep our heads down and do what we do. It is simple, honest work in a small corner of the world.
