Binapani Store

We have been here in Fuljhore for a while now. It is quite a busy spot, especially being so close to the Durgapur police station. Most days start early before the sun gets too high. We see a lot of people passing by on their way to work or just running errands around this part of West Burdwan. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we keep the shelves stocked with what people need. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic from the main road, but you get used to it after a few years. I remember when this area didn't have as many buildings. Now there are houses everywhere and more people stopping in. We spend most of our time just organizing things or chatting with the regulars who live around here. It’s a simple life. We don’t really do much besides making sure everything is in order. The rain can be a bit much during the monsoon season, sometimes the water collects out front, but we manage. My cousin helps out in the afternoons when it gets busy. We just keep going day by day. It’s funny how you start to know everyone’s face even if you don’t know their names. Durgapur is a big place but this little corner feels small once you’ve been here long enough. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name Binapani Store that people know.
