Akn Foods

Akn Foods is a small operation we run out of Room No. 1 in Sahajpur Hattala. We are located right near the Os Bangle shop, which most people in the village know. It’s not a large place at all. It’s just a single room where we manage everything. We deal with various food products, mostly getting them ready for local sale. Being in Sahajpur means we are part of the local community. We see the same people every morning at the post office or the market. Our day starts with checking the stock and seeing what needs to be delivered. It gets a bit crowded in the room when we have a lot of boxes, but we’ve learned how to stack them to save space. Burdwan is our tehsil, so we head there whenever we need supplies or to handle official business. We don't have a big corporate structure. It's just a couple of us doing the work. We try to keep things simple. We don’t have a big sign or any fancy decorations. People know us by word of mouth mostly. The work is steady, and we like being close to home. It’s a humble business, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We’ve been in this spot for a while and plan to stay for many more years, just doing the daily tasks and keeping the shop stocked for everyone.
