Yeshwant Institutes

Yeshwant Institutes is up on the second floor of the Sagerlteight building in Yashwant Campus. If you know the Tata Indicom office in Balaji Nagar, we are right above that. It’s a good spot in Dhankawadi. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a breeze, which helps when the classroom is full of students. We have been here for a few years now, and the routine is pretty much the same every day. We open up in the morning for some of the older students and then the main rush happens in the late afternoon. The stairs can be a bit of a climb, but nobody seems to mind much. Inside, we’ve got several rows of benches and some old cupboards filled with textbooks and old exam papers. We don't use any slick marketing materials. Most people find us because they live nearby or their cousins came here before. We teach the standard subjects, focusing on what’s needed for the state board exams mostly. It’s a lot of writing and reciting. I usually handle the administrative side and teach a bit of English when needed. My colleague handles the math. We have a small water cooler in the corner that always seems to need refilling. It’s a very normal, local setup. We aren't part of some big chain. We just keep our heads down and do the work we’ve always done here in Balaji Nagar.
