We’re located on the third floor of Mohan Villa, right there on 1147-B Shivajinagar, just off Fergusson College Road. It’s a busy part of town with students and professionals always rushing around. Dewan Institute of Intellectual Property is where we spend our time dealing with patents, trademarks, and all those complicated legal things. It’s not the most exciting topic for everyone, but it’s what we know. Our office is tucked away in an older building, so it has a bit of character and some creaky floors. There are stacks of files and books everywhere because that’s the nature of the work. We don't have a big marketing budget or a flashy website team. Most of our students or clients find us because they’re studying nearby or heard about us from someone in the field. It’s a quiet place for the most part, perfect for reading through long documents and law books. We try to keep things simple when explaining the laws, as they can be quite a headache for anyone who isn't used to them. We’ve been in this Shivajinagar spot for quite a bit, and we like being close to the colleges. It’s just a few of us working here, trying to make sense of the intellectual property world for whoever walks in. It’s academic but also very practical for everyday business owners. We just keep at it, one file at a time, every day.
