Wika Instruments India Pvt Ltd is out at Plot No. 40, Gat No. 94+100 in the Hi-Cliff Industrial Estate. This is in Keshnand village. It’s quite a distance from the main city, so it’s much quieter out here, except for the sound of the machines. We have a fair amount of space across these two gats. The building is a large shed style with high roofs to keep it a bit cooler. Inside, it’s all about the instruments we make. We have rows of workstations where the assembly happens. It’s a very functional environment. There are no paintings on the walls or nice furniture. Just metal tables, stools, and the tools we need. We have a small office area where the supervisors sit. The yard is quite big, and we use it for loading the trucks that come to pick up the finished goods. There are some trees planted near the fence that give a bit of shade during the lunch break. We all eat together in a small room off to the side. The work is repetitive but it needs to be done right. We don't talk much about visions or goals; we just look at the production board to see what needs to be finished by the end of the shift. It’s a straightforward industrial job in a quiet part of the district. We stay busy and mostly keep to ourselves.
