Vishwakarma Institute Of Technology Bibwewadi

Our address is 666, Upper Indira Nagar, right in the Bibvewadi area of Pune. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, as the name "Upper" suggests. The institute has been a fixture of this neighborhood for a long time. The building itself is a large, grey structure that sits on the hillside. Inside, the hallways are wide and made of stone, and they stay relatively cool even when the Pune sun is out. We have a lot of different wings and departments, so it’s easy to get turned around if you are new. The staff knows the shortcuts through the different levels, though. We spend a lot of time in the labs and the staff rooms, which are filled with stacks of papers and old books. It’s not a shiny new corporate campus; it’s a school that feels like it’s been well-used. You can see where the steps have worn down over the years from thousands of students walking on them. Outside, the Bibvewadi traffic is always a bit of a mess, especially during the morning and evening rush. We have a canteen that serves the basic snacks and tea, which is where we all end up at some point in the day. There’s a lot of activity all the time, with people moving between buildings and carrying various projects. We don't have much in the way of decoration, as we prefer to just keep things simple and functional for everyone.
