Vishak Hardware

Vishak Hardware is tucked away in Bhorgiri village, not too far from the Sai Temple. Being near the temple means we get a lot of people passing through, especially on festival days. Khed is a beautiful area, and our village is quite peaceful most of the time. The shop itself is a simple building. We keep all the hardware items like nails, hammers, and pipes in wooden bins and on heavy metal racks. It’s a bit of a rustic setup. The air smells like dust and new metal. Since we are in a village, our customers are mostly our neighbors and local farmers. They come in looking for something to fix a fence or a leaky roof. We spend a lot of time giving advice on which screw works best for which job. It’s not like those big city stores where no one talks to you. Here, we know who is building a new shed and who is fixing their porch. We have a small bench outside under the shade where people wait or just rest for a minute. The pace of life is slower here. We open up early when the birds are still loud and close when the sun goes down behind the hills. It’s a good life, surrounded by people we know and tools that actually do something useful. We just keep the shelves filled with the things people in Bhorgiri actually need for their daily chores.
