Varad Hospital

Over at Sector No 10 in Khanda Colony, you’ll find Varad Hospital. It’s a quiet enough part of New Panvel compared to some of the main roads, but there’s still plenty of activity. The hospital fits right into the neighborhood. People from the nearby apartments usually just walk over when they need something. We have a simple sign out front so you know you’re in the right place. Inside, the floors are usually pretty clean, and the lights stay on all night long. It’s not a very big place, but we make use of the space we have. There are a few different rooms for patients and a small area where families can sit and wait. Sometimes it gets a little loud when the kids are around, but mostly it’s just the hum of the air conditioning. Living and working in New Panvel means seeing the same faces often, and we recognize a lot of the people who come through the door. We don't go in for fancy talk or expensive furniture. The desks are old-fashioned and the records are kept in big folders. It’s the kind of place where things stay the same for a long time. Khanda Colony has changed over the years, but the hospital just keeps doing its thing. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure the patients are looked after. It’s a local spot for local people, plain and simple. We stay busy with the basic stuff that matters.
