V K A Architecture

We’ve been running V K A Architecture for a while now here in Sadashiv Peth. Most days it’s just us surrounded by rolls of paper and half-empty coffee cups. It gets pretty busy around Mundhwa 5, especially with the traffic outside, but we manage to get the work done regardless. People come in asking about building plans or how to fix up an old space, and we just sit down and talk it through without any fuss. It is not always fancy in here. Sometimes we spend hours just trying to get one measurement right or arguing about where a window should go. Architecture sounds like a big word, but mostly it is just making sure things don't fall down and that people have enough light. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot from our windows. Our desks are usually a mess of pens and site photos. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that, just a place to work and meet people who need some help with their projects. It's a bit noisy sometimes because of the location, but it keeps us on our toes. We spend a lot of time on site too, wearing dusty shoes and checking on things. It's a lot of back and forth between the office and the builds. We just try to be practical and listen to what folks actually need for their homes or shops. It is hard work, and the days are long, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it here.
