Down on Mundhwa Main Road, that’s where you will find us. V J Equipment Ltd has been here since before the road got as busy as it is now. It is a loud place because of the heavy gear we move around and the constant traffic outside. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, and the office is just a small corner with a few old desks. We spend most of our time out on the floor or in the yard. We deal with various types of equipment, mostly the heavy stuff that people need for building or fixing things. It is a lot of heavy lifting and grease. We don't have a receptionist to greet you; you just walk in and look for someone in a work shirt. Sometimes we are short-handed, so things take a bit longer, but we eventually get to everyone. The guys here have been working together for years, so we all know how the machines work. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people know we are here because they see the equipment from the main road. It’s a practical place for people who need things to get done. We close up when the sun goes down, or a bit after if there is still a truck being loaded. It is just a regular job for us and we take it day by day. We don't overcomplicate things.
