Universal Construction Machinery

Out here in Village Shiver, things move a bit slower than they do in the city. Our place, Universal Construction Machinery, is located right in the village area, near the post office in Dhore taluka. It is a dusty spot because of all the equipment we have sitting around in the open. We deal with construction machines, mostly the big stuff that local builders need for their projects. It gets quite muddy when it rains, and the sun is really strong in the summer months. We do not have a fancy showroom or a glass office. It is mostly just a yard and a small room where we keep the keys and our records. People from the surrounding villages come by when they need a machine fixed or if they are looking for something used for their farm or site. My brother and I usually handle all the heavy lifting ourselves. We spend a lot of time cleaning dirt off the gears and checking the oil levels. It is hard work and our clothes are always stained with grease. There isn't much to see around here except for the open fields and the road leading into the village. We have lived here our whole lives, so we know most of the people who walk past our gate every day. We keep the gate open so anyone can just wander in and ask a question.
