Shree Sadguru Earthmovers

Wakad has changed a lot lately, but we stay busy here at Kalamkar Wasti with the heavy gear. You see the yellow machines parked out front most mornings before the sun gets too high over Mulsi. It gets dusty, and there is always grease on someone's hands, but that is just how it goes when you deal with earthmovers. We spend a lot of time checking the hydraulics and making sure the tracks are clear of rocks from the last job site. People around Pune know the roads can be a bit of a mess, so we are always moving from one spot to another. It is not fancy work. My desk has some old paperwork and a couple of spare parts sitting on it right now. We usually start early, around seven, when the air is still a bit cool. You can hear the engines warming up from down the road. Sometimes the tea stall nearby is the only place to get a decent break. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything. It is just a practical space where we keep the equipment running and talk to the drivers. The Taluka Mulsi area keeps growing, so there is always some ground that needs digging or leveling. We just focus on getting the machines to where they need to go and making sure they don't break down mid-way through a shift. It is just how we operate.
